Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars (no bake)

I’ve always loved the combo of chocolate and peanut butter, and this recipe adds a third ingredient to the mix — graham crackers. It creates the perfect venn diagram of dessert deliciousness. Enjoy!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars (no bake)
  1. 8 Tbs. (1/2 c.) butter, softened
  2. 2 c. creamy peanut butter, divided
  3. 1 c. confectioners sugar
  4. ~ 10 oz. or 2/3 of a 14.4 oz. box of graham crackers, mashed into crumbs
  5. 10 - 12 oz. chocolate chips
  6. 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  7. 1/2 c. roasted peanuts, chopped
  1. 1. Grease a 8" x 12" pan or line it with parchment paper
  2. 2. Beat the butter and 1 c. of the peanut butter together. Then beat in the powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in the graham crackers.
  3. 3. Press this mixture into the pan.
  4. 4. In a sauce pan on low heat, melt the chocolate chips with the remaining cup of peanut butter and the vanilla. Stir frequently and be careful not to burn it.
  5. 5. Pour the chocolate mixture over the peanut butter base. Top with chopped peanuts. Cover and chill in the fridge for at least an hour or until they are firm enough to cut into bars.
